What is this?
estwarden is an automated open-source intelligence (OSINT) dashboard that monitors security indicators relevant to Estonia and the Baltic states. It runs a daily collection cycle querying multiple intelligence sources, then uses LLM analysis to extract structured threat indicators.
Monitored Categories
- MILITARY Russian troop movements, exercises, force posture near Baltic borders
- HYBRID Cyber attacks, cable sabotage, GPS jamming, drone incursions, disinformation
- NATO Alliance deployments, exercises, defense infrastructure in the region
- DIPLOMATIC Diplomatic signals, border incidents, escalatory rhetoric
Threat Levels
- GREEN - No significant activity detected in the last 24h
- YELLOW - Noteworthy developments requiring attention
- ORANGE - Multiple elevated indicators, heightened risk
- RED - Critical activity detected, immediate concern
Methodology
Intelligence is collected daily at 08:00 EET via Perplexity (real-time web search AI) across four query domains. Results are processed through an LLM to extract structured indicators with severity ratings. The overall threat level is computed algorithmically - single outliers are capped to prevent false escalation. Historical data is stored for trend analysis.
This is an automated tool, not a substitute for professional intelligence assessment. Indicators may contain errors or miss relevant events.
